To help network operators and enterprise clients in more than 160 countries navigate the ever-changing communications industry, ZTE sought to establish an integrated information and communications technology (ICT) platform. As the foundation of this Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), ZTE deployed Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and RedHat Enterprise Linux with help from Red Hat Consulting. ZTE can now better prepare for industry changes—particularly the shift to the new 5G telco standard—as well as take advantage of flexible technology and a collaborative DevOps approach to build and deploy products faster.

Supports full access of 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G NSA, 5G SA and Wi-Fi. Pod-level convergence and self-adaptive scaling enable more flexible service launch and higher resource utilization. All of ZTE’s 5GC CNFs have achieved the highest level certification of CNF Level 2 in Red Hat OpenShift.

ZTE’s CI/CD automation capability integrates with the operator’s programmable pipeline, accelerating the rapid delivery of new services.
