9TH BIT was started by a group of individuals with a passion for implementing SOA solutions, Middleware integration and products that enhance the effectiveness and profitability of organisations’ IT investments. While helping businesses across South Africa to leverage their existing systems, we identified that there was need for an organisation such as 9TH BIT that could focus on enabling businesses to maximize IT investments and ease the modernisation of legacy systems to current technologies. While new technologies are created by Middleware vendors and accepted by IT organisations in Africa, 9TH BIT helps to relieve growing pressure on the viability and maintenance of older technologies and applications built upon them, whilst integrating newer technologies when needed.
