OADP and KubeVirt integration: PowerProtect Data Manager leverages and manages upstream components, such as KubeVirt in order to snapshot VMs in OpenShift, making deployment simple.
Support for Block Storage: PowerProtect Data Manager now protects data residing in Persistent Volume Claims that have been provisioned in block storage. This is true for both VMs and other container applications. Therefore, if you require performant storage in order to deliver VMs, PowerProtect Data Manager's data mover can now be used to read from block storage and move data to protection storage.
