Official images for Microsoft SQL Server on Red Hat containers. Use the following command to pull the SQL Server on Red Hat container. Using this image, you can deploy an official Microsoft SQL Server image for production use. You can get started with this image using the below command:
podman pull mcr.microsoft.com/mssql/rhel/server:2022-latest
You can use this image to deploy official Microsoft SQL Server images on an OpenShift or other Kubernetes cluster. Using the relevant tags, you can deploy official SQL Server images. What Linux platforms are supported?
SQL Server is currently supported on Red Hat Enterprise Server, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, and Ubuntu. For the latest information about the supported versions, see Supported platforms.
Is SQL Server on Linux the same as on Windows?
The core Database Engine for SQL Server is the same on Linux as it is on Windows. However, some features are currently not supported on Linux. For a list of features that are not supported on Linux, see the Unsupported features & services.
How does licensing work on Linux?
