Overview

Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes automates the deployment, provisioning, management, and orchestration of Elastic Stack (e.g. Elasticsearch and Kibana) on Kubernetes. The Operator brings the power of Elastic's Search, Observability, and Security to Kubernetes. We offer both a Basic and an Enterprise license with the Operator. The Basic license is free and comes with a host of features like multi-cluster management. The Enterprise license is paid and great for customers who want 24/7 support and access to advanced features such as cross-cluster search and cross-cluster replication.

Easily manage the Elastic Stack on Kubernetes: Automate the deployment, provisioning management, and upgrades for the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Beats), and APM Server.
Secure by Default: Communication between all components is encrypted by default. We configure the necessary certificates to secure communication between components. This streamlines setup and saves you time.
Advanced Topology Support: All topologies supported by Elasticsearch are also supported by ECK. Examples include hot-warm-cold deployments, dedicated master/ingest, machine learning nodes.
Snapshot scheduling and keystore support: Get full access to Elasticsearch API for taking snapshotting and keystore settings. Make sure you have data backups for disaster recovery and redundancy.
Cross-cluster search and cross-cluster replication: Achieve high availability and low-latency with cross-cluster search and cross-cluster replication. Cross-cluster search and cross-cluster replication are only available in the Enterprise tier.
Store local, search Global: Deploy clusters in a single Kubernetes environment and connect them with clusters running in another. Use Cross Cluster search or Cross Cluster replication to streamline data movement and search operations.
