The Red Hat Ecosystem Catalog is the official source for discovering and learning more about the Red Hat Ecosystem of both Red Hat and certified third-party products and services.
We’re the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source solutions—including Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes. We deliver hardened solutions that make it easier for enterprises to work across platforms and environments, from the core datacenter to the network edge.

Avesha, is the provider of KubeSlice, a leading Kubernetes native multi-cluster, multi- tenant platform that accelerates velocity for application and infrastructure teams.
KubeSlice offers a cloud neutral, true multi-tenancy Kubernetes management solution enabling
provisioning, management and communications between pods spanning cloud providers, data
center or edge locations, and enabling strategic placement of customer workloads anywhere
around the globe.
KubeSlice provides multi-tenant [hard and soft tenancy] and multi cluster application
orchestration and automation on top of OpenShift infrastructure orchestration and
automation across datacenter and clouds.
Kubeslice makes Application deployment across distributed k8s clusters simple and
automatable by avoiding having to set up complex firewall rules, application gateway
configurations and security audits.
Each KubeSlice isolates the tenant traffic in a multi cluster multi tenant deployment
using dedicated secure encrypted vpn tunnels between all the clusters enabling
services deployed across clusters to discover and communicate with each other.
KubeSlice’s eliminates the use of north south traffic for services deployed across
multiple clusters, this avoids setting up firewall rules, gateway configs and security
audits each time a new application or service or cluster is added
KubeSlice creates an overlay network using a shared subnet range. This avoids having
to tediously identify non-overlapping IP addresses each time a new cluster,
application, tenant is added.
Avesha's Reinforcement Learning LB provides intelligent global load balancing of
traffic between the edge clusters to ensure efficient workload placement.
Avesha's Reinforcement Learning for HPA [horizontal pod autoscaling] provides
predictive pod scaling to reduce the cluster as well as carbon footprint
This matrix displays product versions and their claimed compatibility with Red Hat platforms, as provided by the partner through Partner Validations and the Red Hat Certifications.

How does KubeSlice work with OpenShift?
OpenShift provides infrastructure orchestration and automation for k8s clusters in the
datacenter and in AWS [ROSA], Azure [ARO] and other public clouds, where-as
KubeSlice complements OpenShift to provide for multi-cluster and multi-tenant
application orchestration and automation for Enterprises and Telcos. OpenShift +
KubeSlice partnership is used in Telcos’ to orchestrate a multi-tenant E2E network
slice.
How does KubeSlice make multi-tenancy easy for k8s cluster[s]?
KubeSlice provides API/CLI to simplify and automate the placement of multi-tenant
workloads onto shared infrastructure of one or more k8s clusters. This allows for
definition, deployment and change management of the application workloads to be
managed in a E2E DevOps CI/CD pipeline and to be done in minutes.
How can workloads use non http communications across clusters?
Each instance of a KubeSlice creates a dedicated interconnected network fabric for a
tenant to host their applications, on shared infrastructure of one or more clusters
deployed in a datacenter or cloud. This fabric is made of dedicated encrypted vpn
tunnels that facilitate communications for services deployed across clusters for this
tenant. This tunnel accommodates all protocols of network traffic [Layer3-Layer7]
including http.
How do you harden the tenancy for applications deployed across clusters?
KubeSlice improves the security posture of multi-tenant or single tenant application
deployments in multiple ways.
KubeSlice creates dedicated secure vpn tunnels with auto certificate rotation to
enable cluster to cluster direct communication, avoiding north-south traffic that
requires services to be exposed to the public internet. This reduces the attack surface
for malicious actors.
KubeSlice automates definition and enforcement of network policy and RBAC across
clusters. This reduces policy drift and reduces the probability of errors and policy drift
to be significantly reduced.
In the instance of a hack, the blast radius is limited to the slice.
