In this collaborative work, we aim to build a distributed 5G/6G ready BSS online charging solution blueprint using enterprise grade and reliable kubernetes stack as one common platform and leverage private and public cloud infrastructures which can be easily swapped among each other.

Our ultimate goal is to:

Get ready for 5G and 6G: Ultra fast and efficient charging grid providing low latency, on-demand scalability, and telco grade SLAs.
Provide Agility & Elasticity: Leverage cloud native development and deployment patterns.

Features & Benefits: Integration with 5G Core networks through Nchf capable of charging new 5G digital bundles such as network slicing with legacy OCS or i2i OCS, along with diameter support to integrate with legacy networks.
Dynamic pricing and balance policies provide highly configurable rate plans, packages and scenarios
True convergence; manage a variety of different services on a single platform and charge customers on a prepaid or postpaid basis
Active-Active Geo-Redundancy; distributes traffic over data centers via geographically distributed clusters and nodes that are both active
Ready for pending limit procedures via REST/Diameter-sy
Shared Balances for B2B and B2C, customers/enterprises can share their balances with other customers or enterprises in the account hierarchy
Proven performance, reliability and scalability; deployed at Tier-1 operators, provides “five 9” availability to support tens of millions of customers
