The Red Hat Ecosystem Catalog is the official source for discovering and learning more about the Red Hat Ecosystem of both Red Hat and certified third-party products and services.
We’re the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source solutions—including Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes. We deliver hardened solutions that make it easier for enterprises to work across platforms and environments, from the core datacenter to the network edge.
Mavenir Telecom Cloud Integration Layer (MTCIL) is part of all Mavenir OpenRAN, Packet Core and Voice Core solutions.
MTCIL is a Telco Platform as a Service layer on which the Mavenir 5G and next generation media applications are developed. It implements platform, management, and other common services for various Tel-co workloads. It also provides 3GPP and cloud-native compliant northbound and southbound interfacesfor OSS, MANO, and General PaaS integrations. MTCIL is implemented in cloud-native μServices archi-tecture and works closely with Kubernetes to deliver a high level of reliability, agility, and scale expectedof distributed and cloud-native systems.
This service models networks functions, components within each network function and associated resources as Managed Objects and makes it possible to manage the objects individually or as a group of related objects.
This feature is used to enable applications deployed in Kubernetes to manage logs in a distributed model. This feature also provides APIs for applications to stream logs.
This service manages configuration of Network Functions and μServices. Configuration is described using Yang and encoded in JSON. NetConf and CLI are exposed for configuration management.
This service implements a 3GPP compliant fault and alarm management model. It provides interfaces for application μServices to publish and subscribe to various events. It interfaces with the metrics management system (Prometheus) for TCA events. It also exposes a VES compliant NBI for notifications.
This service implements Prometheus at the core for metrics collection and monitoring and provides necessary correlations to 3GPP managed object model, events, and clock aligned measurements.
High Availability as a Service (HAaaS):
Kubernetes does not meet fast HA requirements needed for certain Telco stateful services. HAaaS provides overlay HA capability by supporting a n:m Active-Standby model in a distributed scalable fashion.
Tracing Platform as a Service (TPaaS):
MTCIL provides framework and APIs for applications to stream Transaction Logs (TRL) and 3GPP Subscriber Level Traces (SLT).
CDR:
MTCIL provides framework and APIs for applications to emit or consume CDRs.
