Overview

The runtime operator requires the Co>Operating System, obtained separately. Please contact your Ab Initio account manager for assistance.

The operator extends the distributed execution model of Co>Operating System graphs to the Kubernetes environment, allowing you to configure jobs and scale them horizontally across a group of containers to meet your data-processing requirements.

The CoOperatingSystemRuntime custom resources make it easy to create reusable job templates, minimize job startup time by provisioning on-demand resources, and schedule resource availability to match usage patterns. Running in Kubernetes gives you excellent visibility into job status and performance, and you can configure your monitoring platform to collect observability data from jobs.
