Samsung 5G Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF)
AMF performs mobility management of terminals within the 5G Core system and the ability to communicate control messages between NFs inside the Core system and terminal/base station.
Samsung 5G AMF is responsible for mobility management, registration management, connection & reachability management, access authentication & authorization, location services management, and supports lawful interception. AMF allows the consumer to communicate with the UE and the AN (Access Network).
