Agentic Multi-Cloud Management: One Platform to Plan, Operate, and Sell Hybrid Cloud
MACE is a single control plane to see, automate, govern, and sell hybrid cloud, public cloud, and bare-metal infrastructure using six modules: Sense (observability), Automate (orchestration and provisioning), Know (knowledge), Spend (FinOps), Flow (workflow automation), Command (virtual assistant). For customers: one platform instead of multiple tools, full visibility across hybrid and multi-cloud, faster provisioning with self-service catalog, lower cloud spend through FinOps, built-in governance to reduce compliance risk, and for service providers, the ability to package and sell their infrastructure as a cloud service.
End-to-end provisioning across bare metal, virtualization, Kubernetes, and OpenShift from a single workflow, so a full environment is stood up in one motion. Provisioning is exposed as governed self-service: a catalog of composite blueprints and parameterized requests, with approval policy, quota, and entitlement scoping applied at creation, so speed never costs control. Beyond day one it runs the day-2 lifecycle, patching, scaling, and remediation, from one plane, staged and reversible. It places workloads on the right substrate by cost, latency, or compliance.
Sense is the observability foundation and the entry point to MACE, treating the whole estate as one system rather than a console per vendor. It collects metrics and events across hardware, virtualization, containers, network, and storage through the Prometheus ecosystem, source-specific exporters, and SNMP, so a heterogeneous estate resolves into a single coherent view. On that telemetry it provides live dashboards for health, capacity, and performance.
Its real value is what it does with noise: it correlates alarm storms into a small number of real incidents, and for each identifies the root cause and the blast radius, the true scope of impact. Anomaly detection surfaces abnormal behavior and early hardware-health signals before they become outages. Sense can be adopted on its own, and it gives every other module something accurate to act on.
Flow is the workflow engine that lets MACE drive multi-step processes spanning other systems. Flow handles the orchestration logic, the approvals, conditions, and cross-system calls, that turn a single action into a governed end-to-end process. Processes are built on a low-code / no-code canvas, so teams compose them visually instead of maintaining brittle scripts. Into them you embed approval steps, conditional branches, and gates, so a workflow follows your actual operating procedure rather than a hard-coded path. Flow calls out to external systems partway through, so an action that begins in MACE can be completed anywhere else it must. One of the key use is ITSM integration: it opens, updates, and closes tickets in your existing service desk, each tied to the action and carrying full context, so the record keeps itself.
Command is the agentic interface, the layer that lets people operate the whole platform by saying what they want instead of navigating menus. It sits across every other module as a single conversational front door. At its center is a virtual assistant you address in natural language, with requests like add three nodes to that tenant's cluster, find and shut down unused VMs, or show the five services consuming the most cloud resources this month. The assistant interprets the intent, proposes the concrete action, and triggers the right workflow to carry it out. Underneath the conversation, specialized agents recommend and act within the policy you set, and anything consequential is held for human approval, so the ease of asking never removes control over what happens. Users state the outcome they want and let the platform assemble the steps.
Know is the platform's institutional memory, built so that effort spent solving a problem is captured once and reused, and expertise compounds instead of walking out the door. Every resolved incident and every runbook becomes a searchable, reusable entry in a knowledge base, turning one-off fixes into durable organizational knowledge. The hard-won know-how of senior engineers stays in the system when people change roles or leave. When a similar problem recurs, Know surfaces the relevant prior resolution as guided troubleshooting, so the team starts from the last solution rather than a blank page. Because the knowledge base feeds both the automated remediation in Automate and the assistant in Command, the same problem is never solved from scratch twice, and the platform gets measurably better at running your estate the longer it runs it.
Spend is the FinOps module of MACE bundle. Its role is to make cost something the platform manages continuously, not a report read after the money is gone, and for service providers it turns cost management into something sellable. Spend attributes cost to the tenants, projects, and workloads actually consuming it, so spend is understood where decisions are made. It forecasts cost forward instead of only reporting history. It identifies idle and over-provisioned resources and reclaims or right-sizes them the moment waste appears, on the same plane as the rest of operations, not in a quarterly review. It provides showback and chargeback back to the responsible teams. And for a provider, per-customer cost analysis and billing can be packaged and sold as a FinOps service, so the platform that controls your costs also becomes a revenue line.
