The Red Hat Ecosystem Catalog is the official source for discovering and learning more about the Red Hat Ecosystem of both Red Hat and certified third-party products and services.
We’re the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source solutions—including Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes. We deliver hardened solutions that make it easier for enterprises to work across platforms and environments, from the core datacenter to the network edge.
Based on the vCN (Virtualized Core Network) architecture, ZTE vSBC offers security, connectivity, QoS guarantee, management and other functions with totally new experience.
ZTE vSBC product adopts the signaling and media separation architecture. Its SPE (Signal Portal Element) integrates the P-CSCF (Proxy-Call Session Control Function), EATF (Emergency Access Transfer Function), IWF (InterWorking Function), E-CSCF (Emergency-Call Session Control Function), ATCF (Access Transfer Control Function) and IBCF (Interconnection Border Control Function) functions, and its MPE (Media Portal Element) integrates the IMS-AGW (IMS Access Gateway), ATGW (Access Transfer Gateway) and C-BGF/TrGW (Core Border Gateway Function / Transition Gateway) functions. All the logical elements can be co-located or deployed separately. ZTE vSBC software can run on the same COTS platform or blade server with the elements of ZTE or other vendors.
ZTE vSBC product supports control plane and user plane separation in different DCs (Data Centers) during virtualization deployment. The control plane is deployed in a central DC for the purpose of easy O&M (Operation and Management), while the user plane is deployed in the DCs near the IP bearer or close to users to reduce media path latency and improve voice quality.
ZTE vSBC product supports all the popular codecs (such as G711, G723, G726, G729, AMR, AMR-WB, EVS, iLBC, etc) and provides the software- and hardware-based transcoding features. The hardware-based feature enables SBC to support large-capacity transcoding on multiple concurrent sessions, while the software-based transcoding feature enables seamless evolution to a cloud platform.
With the high availability architecture and flexible deployment options, ZTE vSBC is used in VoLTE (Voice over LTE), VoWiFi (Voice over WiFi), RCS (Rich Communication Suite) and FMC (Fixed and Mobile Convergence) networks. And it is capable of addressing your business needs through openness, scalability, manageability and interoperability.
Red Hat certified products are tested to meet Red Hat’s criteria and supported as defined in the Red Hat Collaborative Support Process.
Partner validated products are tested by Red Hat Partners and supported as defined in the Red Hat Third Party Component Policy.
