- Operation using Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling
uCosminexus Application Server supports Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling technology.Systems without Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling require servers that can withstand the projected capacity, which can lead to excess investment. Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling eliminates the need for capacity forecasting. It reduces the risk of over-investment or under-investment in computing resources and lost business opportunities—or lost business opportunities due to underinvestment.
- Avoid response deterioration due to Full GC
While Full GC is a convenient feature that automatically frees up used memory, it has the problem of deteriorating response time. uCosminexus Application Server avoids Full GC by placing long-lived objects in a separate area.
- Ensure stability of web applications
If a business logic (servlets and JavaBeans) that takes long processing time is present in a Web application, almost all the concurrently executing threads in the Web application are used, and the processing of other business logics may be in waiting state. In such a case, by specifying the setting to control the number of concurrently executing threads in the URL group, you can execute the business logics of the Web application without affecting the other processing.
