Administrators can authorize users to perform actions and define what users can do in Developer Hub.
The RBAC plugin offers a streamlined user interface for effectively managing permissions in your Red Hat Developer Hub instance. It allows you to assign permissions to users and groups, empowering them to view, create, modify and delete Roles, provided they have the necessary permissions.
Role-based access control (RBAC) controls access to resources in a Red Hat Developer Hub by mapping users and the actions they can perform to the resources in the system. You can use RBAC to define roles with specific permissions and then assign these roles to the users and groups in your catalog. You can even delegate RBAC control to other users and groups for distributed access control management.
RBAC on Developer Hub is built on top of the Permissions framework, which defines RBAC policies in code. You can define your policies by using the Developer Hub GUI, REST API, or CSV files.
Use the GUI, the REST API, or CSV files.
