InfoScale for Kubernetes is a Software-defined storage solution which provides persistent storage volumes to containerized applications being managed within an OpenShift cluster. InfoScale uses it's own CSI driver to manage persistent storage. InfoScale offers features such as I/O Fencing for data integrity, stateful application failover, Flexible storage sharing and Disaster Recovery.

The - Disaster Recovery (DR) feature provides the ability to test and validate disaster recovery capabilities by migrating Kubernetes cluster metadata and application components to peer cluster in case of a local or remote disaster.
Disaster Recovery can be configured across on-premise and cloud combinations. Currently Arctera InfoScale for Kubernetes support Azure RedHat OpenShift (ARO).
Provides scaling, mounting and/or movement of InfoScale persistent storage volumes on cluster nodes with minimal disruption. With encryption, data at rest can be secured.
Prevents data corruption by allowing only the active cluster nodes to write to the volume. The I/O fencing feature helps recover from cluster disruptions more quickly by ensuring that disrupted pods are not allowed to write until they are moved to another node to continue normal operations.

Can this product work with another storage management solution from other vendor?
Yes. While configuring InfoScale cluster, users are given facility to exclude storage devices which are managed by other solution, so that InfoScale does not take control of managing them.
