ZXUN xGW is ZTE’s converged gateway product for EPC, 5GC and 2G/3G packet core.
ZXUN xGW is ZTE's converged gateway product, which provides powerful session management and data forwarding capabilities for mobile broadband networks. It can be deployed as GGSN, S/PGW-C, S/PGW-U, SMF, UPF, ePDG, CG or combined node to support 2G, 3G, LTE, 5G NSA/SA, and non-3GPP accesses.
Based on the cloud-native architecture, ZXUN xGW has been decoupled into a group of microservices that enable independent lifecycle management and a common storage layer that supports the stateless design of microservices. This design offers operators the flexibility to deploy and upgrade 5G Core networks, as well as the capability to support future service development through rapid delivery using CI/CD. Furthermore, with the integration of containerization and CaaS platforms, lightweight deployment can be achieved.
ZXUN xGW supports dynamic expansion according to the system load status. It can expand dynamically per various information such as bearer numbers, CPU usage, etc.
ZXUN xGW architecture ensures no single point failure in the system. It supports redundancy and disaster recovery mechanism for every components.
ZXUN xGW provides automatic O&M with One-click deployment, dynamic management, preventive maintenance, MML navigation, tracing tools (e.g. signaling tracing, failure observation).
